About Luna
LUNA Up All Night is an intimate guild community of GW2's Jade Quarry server that share a common goal of individual freedom & group accomplishment all in a warm, casual & stress free environment. In this guild, each member is encouraged to use their talents, skills, and voice to shape the future whichever way they choose. We boast members of all ages, lifestyles and genders from University students to grandparents. While the majority of us do focus on PVE mainly, we have members who also enjoy PVP and WvW.
Amongst our small group we have Dungeon Dynamos, Fractal Fanatics, Map Mavens & Alliteration Afficionados. And smart asses.
LUNA Up All Night does not have a lot of rules to adhere to however we will not tolerate any lack of respect amongst other players which includes name calling, discrimination, pressure or drama. Similarly, we do not discriminate based on play level. We welcome, support and guide new players and veterans alike.
We do not require 100% rep and appreciate that most players enjoy being in multiple guilds however we do require repping us during Sunday evening Missions and ad'hoc parties that form on a regular basis for dungeons, fractals, story, map, dailies etc.
Luna's History

Once upon a time...
Addagirl, who was a fresh transplant from World of Warcraft, had just created an account on Guild Wars 2 after doing a search on Google using the term "Soloable MMORPG", when she happened upon a very friendly player named Auryn during the map event "The Maw" in Wayfarer. Now addagirl, had no intention of joining any guilds assuming all mmo's were the same and had bad experiences in WoW. But somehow, Auryn's magnetic personality, who partied up for the map event with addagirl, won her over and convinced her to try her guild STYLE [STYL].
STYLE was a guild who was started by a gentleman named Michael and led by him, Auryn (Mary) and another gamer. It was in this guild that friendships were developed to the point of thinking of ourselves as a family. STYLE's mission statement was very similar to that of LUNA's but unfortunately, the pressure to expand the guild led to some dissapointing alliances with other guilds where personalities just did not jive with the easy going nature of STYLE's members.
This caused an exodus of many STYLE members and we were left with a core group of us that still very much enjoyed each others company. However, Michael felt that as a result of the exodus, he was best to dissolve STYLE and so he did in the spur of a moment thus ending any possibility to attempt to re-build STYLE.
The members of STYLE attempted to find a new "home" for ourselves and spread out across Tyria and guilds with each of us inviting the others to the guild they thought would be a good replacement. Some of STYLEs former members were successful and stuck with the guilds they had discovered while a few of us just couldn't find that comfort level we had with STYLE.
Right before the release of Heart of Thorns, Mary, addagirl, Odd, Gorkle and Creepy were discussing how none of them had been truly successful in their hunt for a new guild and they wanted that family feeling again for when the expansion was released. It was at that point that Mary invited the rest of us to her personal bank guild, LUCK Up All Night and we all happily joined and began once again, having that family feeling whenever we logged on to play. We invited those whom we knew would want to join us and be an integral part of LUCK and those whom we knew had found new homes but would still like to join us on occasion.
After HoT was released, the very small group of us worked diligently to build our Guild Hall and are still enjoying working hard at adding to it with new members also showing great interest in helping to build it up!
After attempting to recruit more friends into our guild, we realized that the tag LUCK was in use by a very large PUG guild and this created a problem when attempting to recruit and confusion for those asking for an invite. LUCKily, Guild Wars changed their stance on Guild names and allowed Up All Night, to change the tag to LUNA. A tag we have all embraced and am proud of!
